NARRATIVE:

ANALYSIS:

Method of Extraction: Butane

Form:
Wax

Type:
Sativa

Genotype:  Wild Thai =  Sativa Landrace

Typically originally sourced from the islands of Ko Chang, Thailand. Several phenotypes exist.

About Landraces:
A “Landrace” strain is one that evolves naturally in its indigenous environment, and therefore, is absent of any systematic breeding or hybridization. As a result, the strain can eventually adopt the traits best suited for the specific area in which it develops. This doesn’t necessarily make landrace strains superior to hybridized strains; however, their characteristics tend to be very unique. Think Acapulco Gold, Panama Red, Durban Poison, Purple Thai or Hindu Kush, to name a few.

TIP:
To learn how you can use this cannabinoids data to better your health, see the Cannabinoids Library page.

Characteristics:
This sample was a neon straw yellow and physically resembled the “crumble” form of wax, although it was surprisingly soft and scoopable.

Terpene Profile:
Borneol 0.0189%; Camphene 0.0130%; Beta-Caryophyllene 0.4812%; Fenchone & Fenchone Alchohol 0.0798%; Alpha-Humulene 0.1835%; Limonene 0.1167%; Linalool 0.6627%; Beta-Myrcene 0.9800%; Nerolidol 0.1341%; Ocimene 0.3669%; Alpha-Pinene 0.1762%; Beta-Pinene 0.0985%; Terpineol 0.0937%; (LK Pure Labs)

NOTES: The terpene levels listed above are from PTS' Wild Thai shatter, not this wax. However, I'm still providing this information to give you some indication of the terpenes most likely offered in the Wild Thai wax. It's worth mentioning that 'Ocimene' is a terpene I rarely come across in lab reports.

In its intact state, this wax emitted a light, sweet floral aroma. When dabbed, this sample tasted of sweet floral and fruity with sweet herbal notes. An exotic set of terpenes; a hallmark of well grown Thai strains. There’s something special about Thai strains; they capture their indigenous scents and flavors like very few other strains do.

TIPS:
To experience the full flavor of this wax, low temp dabbing is a must. High temp dabbing will significantly degrade this wax' flavors. To learn how you can use this terpenes data to better your health, see the Terpenes Library page.

Effects:
Offered lots of energy and euphoria. Stimulating from beginning to end, but not like an injection of adrenaline. Instead, I would describe it as an uplifting vibrancy that makes you feel alright. A very nice daytime strain. At higher doses, you could experience some raciness or spaciness, depending on your tolerance.

Duration of Effects:
1.5-2 hours

May Help With:
Helped with mood and worked as a creativity booster. May also help with energy, depression, stress, appetite (and more)

Rating:4.5/5
A wonderful translation of Wild Thai as a butane-derived wax.
