NARRATIVE:

ANALYSIS:
Method of Extraction: Butane

Form:
Wax

Type:
Sativa-dominant Hybrid (approx. 90%/10%)

Genotype:
Sour Diesel  =  Unknown

The lineage for true Sour Diesel (aka Sour D) is highly debated. It has been said to be a Chemdawg cut, a Diesel cut, a Diesel and Skunk #1 combo, and even a Diesel and NL cross. Most people give the breeder Chemdawg the credit for developing Sour D. Ed Rosenthal believes it may be a Chemo and Mexican Sativa cross.

Delivery Method(s) Used:

Cannabinoids Profile:
THCa 87.15%; THC 3.98%; CBDa .15%; CBD .31% (LK Pure Labs)

TIP: To learn how you can use this cannabinoids data to better your health, see the Cannabinoids Library page.

Characteristics:
This sample consisted of light caramel-orange colored, cavernous, flat pieces. The wax was a hard, candlewax-like consistency. This sample appears to have dried considerably.

Terpene Profile:
Beta-Caryophyllene 0.5001%; Alpha-Humulene 0.1714%; Limonene 0.3817%; Linalool 0.1664%; Beta-Myrcene 0.3185%; Alpha-Pinene 0.0291%; Beta-Pinene 0.0616% (LK Pure Labs)

In its intact state, this wax emitted virtually no scent. When dabbed, this sample tasted very lightly of sour fuel. Within the context of a Sour Diesel regular butane wax, its flavors were very subdued due to this batch’s age.

IMPORTANT: The terpene levels listed above are for the Sour Diesel flower and NOT for this extract. I'm providing this information to show the terpenes for the strain used to make this wax.

TIP: To learn how you can use this terpenes data to better your health, see the Terpenes Library page.

Effects:
The effects were a subdued version of a classic Sour D; a mix of pure energy and cerebral euphoria. The reason why the effects had faded was due to the product's age (manufactured in July 2016). Normally, I would say there is a potential for uneasiness and/or raciness, especially for newcomers, but not with this batch.

Duration of Effects:
1.5+ hours

May Help With:
Helped with mood and fatigue. May also help with nerve pain, headaches, appetite (and more).

Rating:
1.5/5
This sample was most likely very good-to-excellent back in its prime, but this 10-month-old wax was a shadow of its former self. In this reviewer's opinion, ALL extracts should have a 6-month expiration instead of 1-year.

RPT SUMMARY:

Do humanity a favor and ask yourself why a president of the United States would speak against our Constitution and praise murderous dictators and why some citizens endorse these ideas.

And remember, the next time you turn around, turn around again...’cause I’ll be there.
