Officer Dick Downey's Pot Report
Last weekend I pulled over a car full of drunks and arrested the driver, a 20-something male, for driving while intoxicated. The passengers all took cab rides home.
About an hour later, the girlfriend of the drunk driver I just booked and processed decided to return to the scene to pick up her boyfriend’s vehicle and bail him out of jail.
Instead of bailing out her boyfriend, she was able to join him inside the jail. “Why?” you ask. Well, upon arriving at the police station in her boyfriend’s car, I arrested the young woman for driving drunk.
You know, most cops go an entire 20-year career and never get a 2-fer. Ya didn't know that, did ya? Show some respect, you yaba-dabba-dabheads!

Aeriz is “the only aeroponic medical cannabis cultivator in Illinois.”
On Aeriz’ website, they describe their aeroponic growing method as follows: “In aeroponics, a plant is suspended in the air without the use of dirt or other grow mediums. Below the plant’s root zone lies a state-of-the-art nutrient delivery system. Oxygen-rich, nutrient-infused water is misted directly into each plant’s root zone on a precisely timed schedule.”

Phenotype Profile: This sample of Pink Lemonade offered some surprisingly large buds chock full of unruly, copper pistils and a generous coating of trichs. Excellent physical specimen, indeed!
Bud Density: 4 [1-5]
Terpene Profile: Alpha-Bisabolol 0.0820%; Camphene 0.0120%; Beta-Caryophyllene 0.4121%; Alpha-Humulene 0.1155%; Limonene 0.2013%; Linalool 0.0519%; Nerolidol 0.0684%; Beta-Myrcene 1.4969%; Alpha-Pinene %02959%; Beta-Pinene .1133%; Terpineol 0.0358% (LK Pure Labs).
In their intact state, these buds emitted a combination of sugar-citrus, tart, sweet hash and earth. Once ground, the Kush sour really comes out, though tempered by a sugary-citrus tartness. When smoked, this bud tasted sour with mild sugar up front, followed by what I would describe as mentholated citrus with sweet notes on the exhale. And, in both the smell and flavor, my palate detected a slight orange sherbet/gelato every now and then. This bud definitely offered a complex and unique terpenes profile. I could smell and taste the resemblance of pink lemonade and inspiration for the name.

Effects: A wonderful set of effects that is simultaneously uplifting and calming. It was somewhat reminiscent of a Maui Waui experience. While this is a sativa-leaning strain, it’s not a ‘white-heat-injection-of-adrenaline’ type (think Durban Poison). The euphoria Pink Lemonade offers will transform any bad day into a very pleasant one without compromising your ability to get things done. And, there’s no heavy crash. For me, this strain’s smooth sailing, uplifting high is a perfect summer pairing.
Duration of Effects: 1.5-2 hours
May Help With: Helped with fatigue and mood. May also help with stress, anxiety, PTSD, depression, mild general body pain, mild muscle spasms, appetite (and more)
An outstanding example of Pink Lemonade flower from Aeriz. Expertly cultivated, dried & cured. An approachable, well-rounded Sativa-leaner with a unique set of flavors and aromas.

Officer Downey’s Tip O' the Week: Don't drive drunk to a police station to bail out your drunk friend.
And remember, the next time you turn around, turn around again...’cause I’ll be there.
