Officer Dick Downey's Pot Report
Method of Extraction: Produced utilizing a vacuum distillation process, which distills out the solvent - alcohol, while preserving the terpenes and cannabinoids.
Form: A 2:1 Full Extract Cannabis Oil (FECO)
The 2-to-1 ratio for this oil means that for every 2mg of CBD there is 1mg of THC.
NOTES: The label on this product reads that is a “RSO”, or Rick Simpson Oil. I think Cresco calls this an “RSO” because that’s what consumers recognize. However, this oil is not a RSO because it uses a different solvent and extraction processes than Rick Simpson’s methods and materials. In this reviewer’s opinion, this FECO oil is a much safer and cleaner product than a RSO. I am NOT a Rick Simpson supporter for a number of reasons, which are all echoed succinctly in this open letter to Mr. Simpson by a highly respected German physician with a deep research interest in cannabis. This assertion is most likely controversial within some circles of the medical cannabis community. However, I do my best to adhere to logic, science & objectivity to form my opinions about medical cannabis.

Physical Characteristics: A sticky, black oil. Very pure. These oils have a long shelf life without degrading. This oil seemed as fresh as the day it was made.
Terpenes Profile: I did not request the lab report for this product so I will not be providing specific terpene levels.
TIP: To learn about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library.
Flavor Profile: This oil tasted sweet and floral with a concentrated hash-like backdrop.
How to Measure Dosage: Let’s take a look at the numbers…
The total THC and CBD in this 1g (or 1ml) syringe is 20.79mg THC and 41.38mg CBD.
This translates to 2mg THC and 4mg CBD per 0.1ml (that’s for each “tenth” mark on the syringe).
For detailed information on how to determine dosage using a 1ml syringe, please see this quick reference.
Dosage Taken: 0.05ml per day, which allowed me to ingest a total of 20 doses
Effects: My intent was to take this oil as a daily CBD supplement. The main effect I experienced was a noticeable calming sensation in terms of mood and body. I did not “feel” any THC euphoria because of my dosage level. It’s worth noting that science is starting to work towards a better understanding of the long term benefits of a daily CBD supplement at the molecular level.
Potency Scale for Experienced Imbibers:
Regarding a THC effect, it is extremely mild. I would have to ingest at least half of the syringe to feel any euphoric effects.
Time Elapsed Before Any Onset of Effects: 45 minutes
Effects Peaked at: 2 hours, as far as I could discern
Duration of Effects: 4 hours
May Help With: Helped with mood. May also help with mild aches and pains, PTSD, anxiety. Also can be used as a daily CBD supplement (and more)
Clean, tasty and effective. You can trust the purity and quality of this Full Extract Cannabis Oil.
