Gorilla Glue: My Neo-Socialist Twilight Zone
Your Illinois Medical Cannabis Authority
Officer Dick Downey's Pot Report
Case: Gorilla Glue (flower)
File Date: 10/24/2016
Case No: 0057
This case truly marks the beginning of the end. Today I heard something I thought I’d never hear and did something I thought I’d never do.
What I heard was, “Hey Dude, give me back my glue.” Now in a normal world, addressing an officer as ‘dude’ and asking for your weed back would result in an alley court session, if you burnouts know what I mean. However, I now operate in a disturbed alternate universe where good is bad and bad is good. I had no choice but to give this toker back his ‘medication’.
A real big piece of Officer Downey died today. A real. big. piece.
Type: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid
Genotype: Gorilla Glue #4 = Chocolate Diesel X Sisdub
Complex genetics. Chocolate Diesel = Chocolate Trip X Sour Diesel
Sisdub = Chem Sis X Sour Dub
Multiple CC winner. Its name comes from the very sticky, heavy trich development.
Original Breeders: Josey Whales and Mardogg
Cultivator: Wellness Group Pharms
Date Purchased: 10/20/2016
Delivery Method(s) Used: clean glass pipe
Cannabinoids from Sample: THCa 24.54%; THC 1.80%; CBDa 0%; CBD 0% (LK Pure Labs)
TIP: To learn how you can use this cannabinoids data to better your health, see the Cannabinoids Library page.
Phenotype Profile: The buds in this sample are a variety of mid-greens with dark green sugar leaves and a smattering of tight orange pistils. Gorilla Glue gets its name from its heavy trichome coverage. This sample was on the dry side and somewhat brittle. In its fresher form, GG would be a little spongy and sticky.
Bud Density: 4 [1 - 5]
Terpene Profile: In their intact state, these buds emitted very light coffee and chocolate aromas. Once ground, the buds gave off light odors of fuel and sour. When smoked, this sample tasted of mostly earth with hints of sourness. No other flavors were really expressed in this sample. Based on my experiences with GG, the intensity and spectrum of the aromas and flavors were somewhat limited. Normally, this bud would offer some dank aromas and flavors, but this sample was subdued.
TIP: To learn all about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library page.
Effects: GG is usually a powerful cerebral high with a noticeable body component. This sample provided similar powerful effects, though they were comparatively short-lived and not quite at the typical intensity I would expect.
Duration of Effects: 1-1.5 hours
May Help With: mood, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD / ADHD, OCD, mild nerve pain, mild arthritis, crohn's disease, mild back pain, appetite, (and more)
NOTE: Even though GG#4 is sativa-dominant, some people have experienced that it helps address some forms of body pain.
The terps were muted, the effects were there but didn’t have the typical staying power and trimming was a bit rough. This sample may have simply degraded over time, but it’s impossible for this reviewer to determine that.

And remember, the next time you turn around, turn around again...’cause I’ll be there.
