Cannabinoids Profile: THCa 79.00%; THC 5.92%; CBDa 0.71%; CBD 0.22%; CBC 0.16%; CBG 0.12%; CBN 2.59% (LK Pure Labs)
TIP: To learn how you can use this cannabinoids data to better your health, see the Cannabinoids Library page.
Physical Characteristics: The physical consistency of this sample was wholly the complete opposite of the pull-and-snap form. This was more like a “pull-and-slop” because the physical state of this sample was exactly like a partially melted piece of hard candy (see pic). It was a real mess and definitely "sugared up", just like the Louis VIII Pull-&-Snap that I reviewed back in May 2017.
Note: It appears that this product 'sugared up'. 'Nucleation' (i.e., sugar up) is what happens when lipids left in a sample of shatter begin to separate from the cannabinoids they homogenized with during the extraction process. . The trichomes are just looking to revert back to their natural state. This happens for several reasons and cannot be attributed to a single causation." Hence, the solid-to-sticky metamorphosis.
Terpene Profile: I did not request the lab report for this sample, so I will not be providing the specific terpene levels for this product.
In its intact state, this extract emitted a lightly sweet, orange citrus aroma. When dabbed, it tasted of mildy sweet/bitter orange citrus. Even at very low dab temps, I could not coax a lot of flavor from this extract.
TIP: To learn all about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library.
Effects: For me, I would sum up the experience as a tropical-like, heady Sativa. The effects akin to a potent Maui Waui, Jack Herer #1, etc. but also a little heavier with some energy. You can definitely function on it at low and moderate doses, though it can get a bit intense at high doses, so be prudent until you size this one up. These effects also seemed a bit ‘schizo’ to me at their most intense: flip-flopping between a powerfully heady high and a Kush eye-droop, if you dig it.
Duration of Effects: 2-3 hours
May Help With: Helped with mood. May also help with mild and moderate pain, depression, appetite (and more)
While this product technically meets my review standards for a medical grade extract, its physical form had sugared up and the terps were too subdued for this strain. I would like to try a great batch of this extract or the flower.
