Cannabinoids Profile Per Caramel: THCa 0mg; THC 10.60mg; CBDa 0mg; CBD 46.87mg (ACT Labs)
Total Cannabinoids Profile: THC 42.40mg; CBD 187.48mg
These numbers mean that for this product, there is approximately 4mg of CBD for every 1mg of THC, or a 4 CBD:1 THC ratio.
TIP: To learn how you can use this cannabinoids data to better your health, see the Cannabinoids Library.
Physical Characteristics: The caramels look like a typical square version of the classic treat.
TIP:I suggest storing them in the refrigerator to: 1) keep them from melting; and, 2) make it easy to cut into smaller doses, if you so desire.
Flavor Profile: The reason why I prefer Shelby County’s edibles is because you CAN taste the cannabis, which I think adds a unique umami component to the flavor profile that only cannabis can offer. So, for this reviewer, I enjoyed the classic caramel flavor combined with savory cannabis notes. After all, what’s a cannabis edible if it tastes like the food product minus the cannabis flavor?
Dosage Taken: 1 square, or 10.60mg THC and 46.87mg CBD
Time Elapsed Before Feeling Effects: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Duration of Effects: 2 hours, that I could discern.
Effects: At the 10mg THC level, I felt virtually no euphoric effects. However, I wasn’t taking this product for the THC, but rather for the CBD benefits. What I experienced was a psychological calming effect. It felt like a mild mood stabilizer. There was a mild physical relaxation, too. And then there’s the benefits at the cellular level, which I have no way to measure the possible extent.
NOTE: To be equitable, effects and potency are assessed within the context of a 10mgTHC/40mgCBD dose only, not whether this specific dosage is therapeutically strong enough or not for the reviewer.
Potency Scale for Experienced Imbibers:
IMPORTANT: The effects, duration and peak times will vary from patient to patient, sometimes significantly. The effects described in this review will not necessarily always reflect the experiences of others. Please be responsible when using edibles. The #1 reason for a bad experience is being impatient and over-medicating. For more information, see About Edibles and How to Safely Consume Them.
May Help With: Helped with mood. May also help with anxiety, mild aches (and more)
CBD may offer a wide range of therapeutic benefits. Project CBD is a great resource to learn about the potential medicinal benefits of CBD.
