Type: Indica-dominant Hybrid (60%/40%) *There are also Sativa-leaning cuts
Genotype: 707 Headband = OG Kush (F1 cut) X Sour Diesel
The exact original lineage for 707 Headband is debated, though most believe it’s some version of OG Kush crossed with Sour D.
The name is derived from an area code from the San Francisco Bay Area of California (i.e., 707), which is where this strain first gained notice. And “headband” is a direct reference to the effects this strain can have on its users.

Phenotype Profile: These short and bushy buds were forest green and dense with a mix of orange, yellow and white hairs. The buds were covered in trichomes.
Bud Density: 4 [1-5]
Terpene Profile: The buds smell like a very pungent mix of sweet lemon and skunk with a slight fuel aroma in the background. Smoked through glass, the bud has a sweet and skunky taste. It's very kind to the taste buds. When vaped, the sweetness dominated. I preferred the taste of smoking compared to the taste of vaping this flower.
TIP: To learn all about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library page.
Effects: Starts off as a head high. It's uplifting but not overpowering. A body high does emerge in the background. There is no raciness or anxiety/paranoia with this strain; it promotes relaxation without sedation or any major spaciness. It's more uplifting and great for full function and concentration. Even though it is an Indica, I don't feel tired; I feel focused.
Duration of Effects: 2–3+ hours, depending on dosage
May Help With: Anxiety, tension, stress, depression, mood, mild to moderate pain, insomnia, nausea (and more)
