Phenotype Profile: This 1-gram sample consisted of a single intact bud and some small pieces to make weight. This dense, pale green bud had a large calyx structure and long, light orange pistils throughout with plenty of trichome development.
Bud Density: 4.5 [1-5]
Terpene Profile: I did not request the lab report for this sample, so I will not be providing the specific terpene levels for this product.
In their intact state, these buds emitted a light, crisp pungency with a hint of berry. Once ground, this sample smelled lightly of pine. This batch was noticeable very dry; the buds broke down into almost dust. As a result, the terps were barely there. When smoked, this sample tasted of diesel and earth with notes of berry on the exhale, though the flavors were quite muted. As with the aromas, the flavors had also waned due to the dryness of the bud.
TIP: To learn all about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library.
Effects: A classic, heavy hitting Indica body stone. Unwinds the body and mind. A perfect evening medicine. High potential for couch-lock. First timers won’t need much.
Duration of Effects: 2 hours
May Help With: Helped with stress and minor G.I. cramps. May also help with anxiety, various forms of body, muscle and nerve pain, muscle spasms, PTSD, headaches, appetite (and more)
I’m giving this sample a generous rating because the bud was expertly cultivated, but too dry to showcase all of its strengths. If this batch had been less dry and offered terps that weren’t degraded so much, it would have received a higher rating.
Feb. 2019 Update: I sampled an 1/8 of a very fresh & potent batch of Cresco's Bio Jesus flower and it was an easy 4.5/5, and teetering heavily on 5/5.
