Officer Dick Downey's Pot Report
Your Illinois Medical Cannabis Authority
Scent Profile: sweet, woody and dry clove odor and tastes pepper spicy with camphor and astringent citrus backgrounds
NOTE: Categorized as a 'Primary' terpene in cannabis.
Flavor Profile: spicy, peppery, woody, camphoreous, citrus
Possible Medicinal Properties: While Beta Caryophyllene (aka BCP) was first synthesized in 1964, it was only in 2008 that scientists in Europe discovered that this terpene had cannabinoid-like properties. BCP is often categorized as a cannabinoid, not a terpene, because of how it binds to CB2 cannabinoid receptors.
